Swimming pools treated with liquid chlorine (or sodium hypochlorite), calcium hypochlorite, or salt electrolysis, not having stabilizer in the composition of their formulas, need a stabilizer, or chlorine protector, so that the chlorine does not evaporate so fast and there is more disinfectant power in the water. CTX has a chlorine stabilizer product, CTX 400 ClorProtect, which prevents the rapid destruction of chlorine caused by the sun's ultraviolet rays, for all types of pools.
